Make, practice, wonder and grow.
Four workshop families invite children to learn by making, practising, questioning and creating.
Workshops we host
Grouped by age:3 to 67 to 12
Guided, open-ended art and craft where children explore materials, make their own choices and create work that is truly theirs.
Different workshops, active learning
A craft project, a real-life scenario, a science investigation and a guided pastel artwork will not look the same—and they should not. What they share is a child who takes part.
Depending on the workshop, a session may include:
- 1A short, engaging introduction, demonstration or question
- 2Making, role-play, a game, an experiment or guided art practice
- 3Time to choose, predict, test, practice or refine
- 4Conversation that helps children explain what they notice and think
- 5A chance to reflect, ask what comes next and carry the learning forward
The amount and kind of guidance changes with the workshop; every child remains an active participant.
A meaningful way for every child to join in
Children arrive with different ages, experience, confidence and ways of joining in. We adjust the pace, explanation and level of challenge so each child has a meaningful way to participate.
In one workshop, that may mean watching a demonstration before trying. In another, it may mean choosing materials, rehearsing a response, asking another question or refining a technique. Support is available without turning the experience into a performance with one correct route.
Children do not need to know everything before they begin.
A workshop is a place to try, practice and grow—not a test to pass.
See what’s coming next
The four workshop series are hosted at different times, not all at once. Each new date will name the workshop family, theme, age range and format so families know exactly what is being offered.
Look out for the workshop that meets your child’s interests and age.
A different series may open the next door.
